Ira Sachs’ drama premiered in Sundance and went on to screen in Berlin where it won the Teddy Award. It screens in Tribeca next month.

The film charts a relationship between two men in New York played by Thure Lindhardt and Zachary Booth.

Producer Marie Therese Guirgis and Kevin Iwashina of Preferred Content negotiated the deal with Music Box president William Schopf.

  • First Run Features has picked up US theatrical, home video and VoD rights to David Redmon and Ashley Sabin’s documentary Girl Model and plans a summer release. Dogwoof recently released the film in the UK.
  • Hulu will handle the exclusive digital release of SXSW documentary Re: Generation Music Project and will make the film available on free Hulu and the Hulu Plus subscription service.
