The distributor negotiated terms with Hengameh Panahi of Celluloid Dreams to North America, Latin America and East European rights to the filmmaker’s follow-up to his acclaimed 2009 Cannes world premiere A Prophet.

Pascal Caucheteux produced the film, styled as a suspenseful romantic saga co-written by Audiard and Thomas Bidegain from Craig Davidson’s book of short stories. 

“Jacques Audiard is one of Europe’s finest directors, and the same goes for producer Pascal Caucheteux,” SPC said in a statement.

“We are thrilled to be working with them, and Hengameh Panahi of Celluloid Dreams, once again.”
