The arrangement follows previous collaborations on such films as Sundance world premiere Hobo With A Shotgun, The Red Violin, Blindness and Passchendale.
Niv Fichman’s Rhombus now has access to Alliance’s distribution partnership, which includes Momentum in the UK and Aurum in Spain.
Alliance Films will release Hobo With A Shotgun in Canada and the UK. The film stars Rutger Hauer and is set to premiere in park City on Friday [22]. Magnolia Pictures holds US rights and TF1 is handling international sales.

Alliance Films has made a number of acquisitions in advance of Sundance, taking The Son Of No One for Canada and Spain, The Troll Hunter for Canada and the UK, The Guard for Canada, and Flypaper for Spain.
