The distributor has picked up US, UK, Australia and New Zealand rights to the latest outing for Kevin Spacey, who plays an eccentric inventor on the comeback trail after eight years in prison who moves in with his estranged daughter.
Trent Cooper directed Father Of Invention, which played in official selection at Berlin and also stars Camilla Belle, Heather Graham, Virginia Madsen and Craign Robinson. Sunrise Films co-financed and Kia Jam produced.
