Arclight handled international sales and managing director Gary Hamilton produced what is purportedly Australia’s first 3D action film along with Todd Fellman and Peter Barber.

The ensemble cast includes Xavier Samuel, Sharni Vinson, Singaporean stars Adrian Pang and Qi Yuwu, Phoebe Tonkin, Dan Wyllie and Julian McMahon.

Bait 3Dtakes place in a sleepy town where shoppers and a crazed robber get trapped in an underground supermarket after a tsunami and are preyed upon by ravenous sharks.

“Bait In 3D is the ultimate shark thrill ride that will make you think twice about getting back in the water,” Anchor Bay Films evp of acquisitions and co-productions Kevin Kasha said.

Kasha, Josh Thomashow and Marc Barson negotiated the deal for Anchor Bay Films with Hamilton, Chris Perry and Mike Gabrawy on behalf of Arclight.
