Arthouse Films and New Video have acquired all US rights to Sophie Fiennes’ feature documentary Over Your Cities Grass Will Grow.

The film centres on German artist Anselm Kiefer and his alchemical creative processes and follows him in action at his hill studio estate at La Ribaute in the south of France.

Arthouse plans an early 2011 theatrical release followed by a DVD / VOD / digital release on its imprint through its first-look and output deal with New Video. Arthouse’s David Koh negotiated the deal with Rosa Bosch for the producers.

The film is an Amoeba Film, Kasander Film, and Sciapode Film production.
