Atrix spreads the Light to four buyers

Beatrix Wesle’s Atrix Films has closed deals for P.A.Straubinger´s InThe Beginning There Was Light to Japan (Medallion Media), Spain (Absolut Media Films), France (Jupiter) and Globo TV (Brazil).

Light, already a box-office hit in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, is an investigation into the phenomenon of “inedia” - people who claim that they can nourish themselves with light.

The film is produced by Austrian producer Helmut Grasser, CEO of Allegro Film, who produced also We Feed The World and Let’s Make Money.

Atrix has traditionally championed theatrical documentaries, among them such titles as The Story Of The Weeping Camel, Hitler’s Secretary and How To Cook Your Life.
