EXCLUSIVE: Thriller starring Adam Deacon sells to Capelight Pictures, Cine21.
UK sales outfit AV Pictures has sold urban thriller Comedown to Capelight Pictures for Germany and German speaking territories and Cine21 in South Korea.
Currently in the final stages of post-production, Menhaj Huda’s (Kidulthood) thriller follows a group of friends who are hunted down by a psychopath after breaking into a condemned tower block.
BAFTA Rising Star Award-winner Adam Deacon stars alongside Jacob Anderson (Chatroom), Jessica Barden (Hanna, Tamara Drewe), Sophie Stuckey (The Woman in Black), Duane Henry (W.E.), Calum MacNab (The Firm) and Geoff Bell (The War Horse, RocknRolla).
Producers are Dominic Norris for Serotonin Films and Gareth Wiley for Phoenix Wiley.
The film will screen at this week’s London UK Film Focus, having premiered in the Cannes Marche last month, with pre-sales previously concluded for the UK (StudioCanal), France (eOne) and Middle East (Falcon).
