Bleiberg Entertainment has licensed Roland Joffe’s epic There Be Dragons to key territories including Stealth Media in the UK and HIG in China.
Bleiberg also closed deals in Canada (VVS), Middle East (Eagle), Portugal (Zon-Lusomundo), Turkey (Ozen), India (Tanweer Group), Philippines (Suraya), English-speaking Africa/South Africa (Okhma) and airline (Entertainment In Motion).
As previously announced, Tayrona holds Latin American rights, Aurum released the film in Spain on Mar 25 and Samuel Goldwyn Films launched it in the US on May 6.
Ignacio Gomez Sancha, Joffe and Ignacio Nunez produced There Be Dragons, which stars Dougray Scott as an investigative reporter who probes a decades-old mystery involving his father and the founder of the Opus Dei sect. Wes Bentley and Olga Kurylenko also star.
