The new operation under the stewardship of CEO Richard Wolff and co-president Richard Ross plans to debut several titles a month including theatrical releases.
Breaking Glass UK will debut with the Oct 8 release of thriller Into The Lion’s Den (pictured) starring Jesse Archer and Ronnie Kroell as gay friends on a cross-country trip who walk into a remote redneck bar.
The Seminarian will open on Oct 22 and tells of a closeted student torn between his love of God and the love of his life, while Dec 1 sees the release of comedy Walk A Mile In My Pradas starring Tom Arnold.
“It’s what we’ve always been aiming for,” said Wolff of the UK launch. “We want to bring our success from the US to the UK. The UK is a great market and we plan on making the most of this new opportunity.”
“After celebrating our third anniversary in North America, Breaking Glass Pictures is proud to announce our launch in the UK through Lace Digital Media Group,” added Ross.
“We promise an exciting, diverse mix of product that will include LGBT, horror, documentary and star-driven independent fare.”
