Former head of MGM Worldwide Networks joins AMC international division
Bruce Tuchman is joining AMC Networks as president, AMC/Sundance Channel Global, the company’s international division. Tuchman joins AMC from MGM Worldwide Networks, where he served as president since 2001.
Tuchman will oversee the distribution, programming and marketing of the Sundance Channel, which airs in Europe, Canada and Asia, and WE tv, currently distributed in Asia.
Based in New York City, he will report to AMC Networks COO Ed Carroll.
During Tuchman’s tenure at MGM, the company launched channels for the first time across Europe, Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
