WideManagement closes a number of eyecatching deals on The Mill And The Cross.
French sales company Wide Management has closed some eye catching deals on The Mill And The Cross, starring Charlotte Rampling, Michael York and Rutger Hauer. The film, inspired by Peter Breugel’s painting Christ Carrying A Cross, screened last month in Sundance and Rotterdam.
Benelux distribution will be handled Arnhem-based arthouse outfit, Contact Films. The Mill And The Cross has also been sold to Japan (all rights) to Cetera and to South Korea (all rights) to the company JinJin Pictures
Meanwhile, another Wide title, Nannerl, Mozart’s Sister has been sold to Vivarto in Poland Music Box in the US.
Wide’s recent pick-up The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975 has been sold for a fall 2011 theatrical release to Australia and New Zealand to Curious Film.
