Eamonn Bowles, president of Magnolia Pictures commented: “We’re very happy to continue business with TrustNordisk, and especially with such an exceptional film as The Hunt. Thomas Vinterberg demonstrates his directorial mastery in his finest work since The Celebration and Mads Mikkelsen’s performance more than validates his Best Actor Award at Cannes.”
The Hunt charts the story of a man fighting against a lie that threatens to destroy his life.
The film also picked up an Ecumenical Jury Award and cinematographer Charlotte Bruus Christensen received the Vulcain Prize of the Technical Artist.
