Star Chris Evans to introduce exclusive fan screening at 10am on Jul 21 during the annual San Diego jamboree, which otherwise is shaping up to be light on input from the US majors.

Paramount will launch multiple public screenings of Marvel Studios’ Captain America: The First Avenger commencing at 12noon at the UA Horton Plaza in conjunction with related festivities throughout the day.

The film opens across North America this weekend and ventures into its first international market of Italy on Jul 22 through Paramount Pictures International (PPI).

As previously announced, Cowboys & Aliens is also getting the royal treatment at Comic-Con and will receive its world premiere during the event. The sci-fi adventure will open domestically through Universal on Jul 29, with PPI handing foreign distribution.
