Thierry Wase-Bailey’s sales outfit Celsius has been doing brisk business with its feature doc Freakonomics.

The film has gone to Wild Bunch Benelux for theatrical, video and VOD for Netherlands as well as Flemish Belgian video/VOD/TV. Wild Bunch will give the film a theatrical release on at least five prints.

Celsius has also closed a TV deal for the Netherlands with VPRO.

These add to the deals already recently closed on the film, which was screening in official selection this week. Territories closed include Middle East (Prime Pictures), Australia/New Zealand (Madman), Airlines (Jaguar), Indonesia (Queen), Singapore (Golden Village), Israel (Yes DBS), Taiwan (Catchplay), Mexico (Gussi), South Africa (Ster Kinekor), Greece (Odeon), Portugal (CLMM) and Iceland (Green Light). The US release was handled by Magnolia, who gave it a pre-theatrical  release on VOD/Rental, showcasing it on iTunes, where it was available for rental a full month before it was seen in cinemas.
