Cinedigm has acquired US rights from the National Film Board Of Canada to by Yung Chang’s documentary The Fruit Hunters.

The National Film Board Of Canada and EyeSteelFilm produced the film, a festival favourite that examines what we eat and how that defines us as humans.

Director of acquisitions Emily Rothschild negotiated the deal with Christina Rogers, head of sales at the National Film Board Of Canada.

Bob Moore and Mila Aung-Thwin produced with Kat Baulu. Daniel Cross, Ravida Din and Robin Smith served as executive producers.
