Cinemavault has boarded international rights ahead of Berlin’s EFM to Mark Fitzpatrick’s Australian thriller The Nothing Men.
Colin Friels, Martin Dingle-Wall and David Field star in the tale of a group of factory workers waiting for their redundancy payment who panic when a mysterious man arrives.
Cinemavault’s vice-president of acquisitions Michael Paszt brokered the deal with Nate Bolotin of XYZ Films on behalf of Alchemy Productions. XYZ Films is handling US rights.
Starz plans to release the film theatrically in Australia in spring and Cinemavault will handle the Canadian theatrical release.
New titles on Cinemavault’s line-up include One Day Removals, an over-the-top Scottish comedy from Mark Stirton that screened at Raindance, and The Corner Shop, a cross-culture comedy from producer Rick Bennett in the vein of Outsourced and Loins Of Punjab.
