AV Pictures handles sales and has also closed deals for Japan and Australia/New Zealand.
AV Pictures has struck a multi-territory deal with Clear Vision for feature documentary Mission To Lars.
The UK-based company has acquired the film for the UK/Ireland, France, German-speaking Europe and Scandinavia. Deals are also in place for Japan (Sony) and Australia/NZ (Curious Film).
William Spicer and James Moore’s film is about siblings helping their autistic brother fulfil his dream of meeting Lars Ulrich of Metallica.
Clear Vision will release Mission To Lars in the UK and Eire on DVD, Blu Ray and digital on April 8 and will be donating 20p to Mencap for every unit sold.
“We fell in love with this film and are looking forward to releasing it in our key European territories. It fits perfectly with Clear Vision’s mission of delivering a multi-territory, multi-format and multi-channel solution for quality, independent producers.” Gil Garagnon, Clear Vision’s International Sales and Marketing Director said.
“We are delighted to have Clear Vision on board with their great enthusiasm and vision for this heart-warming film,” Caroline Couret-Delègue, AV Pics’ Sales & Acquisitions Director added.
