EXCLUSIVE: Cinema Management Group head Ed Noeltner and David Dinerstein of domestic distributor LD Entertainment are co-hosting a Bloody Mary Brunch and presentation in Toronto following a market screening of the horror film on Sept 10.
Noeltner (pictured) and his team have struck deals with California Filmes for Brazil, Mexico and pan-Latin American pay TV rights; Distribution Company Argentina for Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and Chile; Venus Films for Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador; and Mirador Films for Colombia.
“International sales for The Collection have been very brisk as we get closer to the films wide US theatrical release (+1,500) on November 30th”, Noeltner said.
The Collector director Marcus Dunstan reprises his role on the sequel and co-wrote the screenplay with Patrick Melton. Josh Stewart plays the survivor of a serial killer’s trap who is forced to lead a crack team into a gruesome private labyrinth to rescue a wealthy man’s daughter. Emma Fitzpatrick, Lee Tergesen and Christopher McDonald round out the key cast.
CMG previously signed distribution deals for The Collection with Planet Media in Germany and Austria, CTV in France, Pinnacle in Australia and New Zealand, Horizon International in Turkey, Carmen Film in Russia and CIS, Kino Swiat in Poland, Front Row Entertainment in the Middle East, DeepJoy Pictures in Taiwan, Pratama in Indonesia and PVR Pictures in India.
