Both films will receive promotional and marketing support from PlayStation’s PSN (PlayStation Network), which claims to have a market reach of 100m households worldwide.
Noeltner said Ratchet & Clank was “well into production” in Vancouver and the producers anticipate an early 2015 release. The original screenplay was written by TJ Fixman with Kevin Munroe (TNMT) directing and Jericca Cleland co-directing. Brad Foxhoven, David Wohl and Kylie Ellis are producing and the executive producers are Hefferon, Kim Dent Wilder and Film Financial Services president David Sheldon.
Ratchet & Clank centres on two unlikely heroes who must defeat a vile alien from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy
Sly Cooper tells of an orphaned raccoon thief who plans a heist with his childhood friends and is scheduled for delivery in early 2016.
