D Films has picked up all Canadian rights to Lee Daniels’ (Precious) anticipated drama The Paperboy, the story of two brothers investigating a case involving a death row inmate.
D Films acquired the thriller from Nu Image and will release this year.
Film is currently in production, from Bafta-winning director Cherish Oteka.
Film will be released theatrically in spring 2025.
