Kidulthood director Menhaj Huda is currently shooting the urban horror in London.

AV Pictures has sold French distribution rights to Menhaj Huda’s urban horror Comedown to Entertainment One (eOne). Studiocanal had previously acquired the film for the UK.

Kidulthood director Huda is currently shooting for five weeks at Three Mills Studios in London. He is directing from a screenplay by Steven Kendall about six friends who break into the tower block they lived in as kids.

The cast includes rising Brit actors Jacob Anderson (Chatroom), Jessica Barden (Tamara Drewe), Calum MacNab (The Firm), Sophie Stuckey (The Woman in Black) and Adam Deacon, who starred in Kidulthood. Geoff Bell, who stars in The War Horse, will play a psychotic tenant.

The project is produced by Dominic Norris for Serotonin Films and Gareth Wiley for Phoenix Wiley.

AV Pictures are handling international sales.
