Release likely end of 2012; further announcements pending for mini-major which has been voraciously acquiring in recent weeks.
Entertainment One (eOne) has acquired all North American rights to director Sophie Lellouche’s Paris Manhattan from SND.
The deal was negotiated by Jo Sweby, manager, worldwide acquisitions eOne, and SND’s head of sales, Charlotte Boucon.
Alice Taglioni and Patrick Bruel star in the romantic comedy about a single, Woody Allen-obsessed pharmacist and her would-be lovers. Allen has a cameo role.
“We’re delighted to work with eOne on this fresh and witty film. eOne is a perfect fit to bring it to North American audiences,” said Boucon.
The rapidly expanding group recently announced US acquisitions of Jesus Henry Christ, Starbuck, Wish You Were Here, Virginia and Special Forces.
