EXCLUSIVE: eOne Films International reports strong interest here on Julia Leigh’s psycho-sexual drama Sleeping Beauty, which premiered in competition last night [12].

Sales chief Charlotte Mickie closed a number of sales on the eve of the market, licensing the sexually charged drama to Wild Bunch in Benelux, Seven Films in Greece, Xenix in Switzerland and Incognito for the Baltics.

Deals also closed with Carmen Films for the former USSR excluding the Baltics and Lev Cinemas for Israel.

ARP Selection closed a deal for France in February and Transmission will release in Australia and eOne in Canada.
