James Griffiths directed the story of an overweight man who houses a secret passion for salsa that can only be unlocked by one woman. eOne anticipates a 2013 release in the US and Canada.
Nira Park and James Biddle produced for Big Talk, whose credits include Sightseers, Shaun Of The Dead, Hot Fuzz, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, In Fear and The World’s End.
StudioCanal and Film4 co-developed and co-financed Cuban Fury. The BFI also co-financed the film. StudioCanal will distribute in its territories.

“We’re delighted to collaborate with our longtime partner StudioCanal to add Cuban Fury to eOne’s exciting North American slate,” said eOne Films US vp of theatrical marketing and distribution Dylan Wiley. “This charming, well-cast comedy will certainly have audiences shimmying to theatres.”
