Comedy already a hit in its native Canada.
Entertainment Onehas acquired the US rights to Ken Scott’s Starbuck, in all media.
The film recently won the audience awards at Santa Barbara and Palm Springs.
Scott also wrote the story with Martin Petit.
Patrick Huard, Julie LeBreton and Antoine Bertrand star in the story of an immature man who learns that he is the biological father of more than 500 children.

eOne’s International sales team recently confirmed sales of the film to the Benelux (Imagine), France (Diaphana), Spain (Vertigo/Wildbunch), Switzerland, German & Austria (Ascot Elite), Japan (Klockworks, Comstock), Israel (Nachshon) and Airlines (Cinesky).
eOne also handles in Australia and Canada — it was already a homegrown hit in the latter territory, becoming the highest grossing Canadian film of 2011.
