Eros hoping to replicate performance of a number of Bollywood hits in the territory this year

Eros Entertainment will release big-budget action adventure Ra.One, which has already taken more than $10m outside India, in South Korea on 250 prints in Q1, 2012.

Eros will be hoping for similar returns on the project to other major Bollywood successes in the territory this year including 3 Idiots (also from Eros) and My Name Is Khan which grossed $3m and $2.5m respectively.

Ra.One, one of Bollywood’s biggest ever titles, stars Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal.
