“We couldn’t be more delighted at how well Metallica Through The Never was received by the major territories following its launch at Cannes,” said president of international sales and distribution Alex Walton.
“This wildly unique film is a mind-blowing movie experience that will literally rock the socks off fans and movie-goers around the world.”
The film stars Metallica band members James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo alongside Dane DeHaan from Chronicle and upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
The story weaves together live concert footage with a narrative about a roadie on a life-changing mission.
