James Balaguero’s pyshological thriller has sold to a crop of territories.

Jaume Balagueró’s new film Sleep Tight has jolted buyers out of their torpor.

Midway through the market, Spanish outfit Filmax has sold the psychological thriller to Lucky Red for Italy, Wild Side for France and Utopia for Greece.

These follow on from deals already signed with Cineart for Benelux, Corazon Films for Mexico, Kino Swiat for Poland, Alfa Films for and Megacom for the former Yugoslavia.

Filmax International has announced that principal photography of the film starts on the 31st of May in Barcelona for eight weeks. Balagueró is directing from a screenplay by Alberto Marinia. Filmax International is pitching the film in Cannes..
