FilmBuff, the VOD platform operated by Cinetic Rights Management, plans to release two films day-and-date with their North American premieres at SXSW.

Erasing David and Crying With Laughter will roll out on iTunes Movie Store and Amazon VOD at the same time as their theatrical premieres at the Austin festival. Starting on April 1 both titles will be available on demand through Comcast, Time Warner, Verizon and Cox.

David Bond’s documentary Erasing David puts the spotlight on the high level of surveillance in the UK. Bond is forced to consider the nature of privacy as he attempts to disappear, only to be pursued by a pair of ruthless private investigators.

Crying With Laughter is a Scottish thriller by Justin Molotnikov about a stand-up comic whose turbulent private life intersect with a professional opportunity with devastating consequences. Joey Frisk stars.
