Bruce Willis, Ed Norton, Bill Murray, Tilda Swinton, Frances McDormand and Jason Schwartzman star and Focus Features International will commence talks with buyers in Cannes.

The project marks the third collaboration between the filmmaker and Steve Rales’ Indian Paintbrush, which is presenting the American Empirical Pictures production.

Anderson wrote the screenplay with Roman Coppola about a young couple from a New England island community in the ‘60s who turn their town upside-down when they run away together. Jared Gilman and Kara Hayward will portray the star-crossed youngsters.

Anderson, Scott Rudin, Rales and American Empirical’s Jeremy Dawson are producing. Indian Paintbrush previously served as executive producer and co-financed Fantastic Mr Fox and The Darjeeling Limited, both also produced by Rudin.

Focus Features International’s Cannes slate includes Cloud Atlas and the untitled Paul Weitz drama to star Robert De Niro, Paul Dano, Olivia Thirlby and Julianne Moore.
