Focus Features’ alternative releasing initiative will take out the sci-fi comedy in partnership with Tugg in theatres and VoD on Jun 15.

Audiences can also create their own theatrical screenings through the Tugg platform.

Extraterrestrial premiered in Toronto last year and follows a couple in Madrid who enjoy a one-night stand only to experience a bizarre morning-after involving a suspicious neighbour, a jealous ex and a flying saucer. eOne will release on DVD later in the summer.

Focus World has also confirmed it will release the Boy George film Worried About The Boy.
