Fortisimmo Films has acquired Serbian director Miroslav Terzic’s debut feature Redemption Street.
The deal was done with production company Filmkombajn.
The project was showcased at last year’s Cinelink Work in Progress section at the Sarajevo Film Festival, where Fortissimo started tracking the film (it is now in post.)
The deal was finalised by Fortissimo’s acquisition consultant for Europe and Middle East, Ellis Driessen and managing director Nelleke Driessen and actor/producer Gordon Kicic with executive producer Snezana Penev.
Nelleke Driessen said: “This is a very special film from a gifted new filmmaker. Fortissimo has always been a keen supporter of young, talented and passionate directors, Miroslav is exactly that and Redemption Street clearly demonstrates his talent.”

The story follows a young deputy prosecutor for war crimes who has ot investigate a missing paramilitary formation.
Writer/director Miroslav Terzic directed more than 50 commercials and videos between 2000 and 2011. He directed the 2002 documentary Freedom And The Last Days.
