Capelight Pictures has acquired German rights to New Zealand horror comedy Fresh Meat.

NZ Film Head of Sales & Marketing James Thompson negotiated the deal with Steffen Gerlach from Capelight. 

Temuera Morrison stars as the head of a modern day cannibal family that is taken hostage by escaped prisoners.

Danny Mulheron makes his directorial debut. Dave Gibson produces. Backers include the New Zealand Film Commission with the assistance of the New Zealand government’s Screen Production Incentive Fund.
