Arts Alliance to distribute five shows under Globe on Screen banner.

Five new productions from Shakespeare’s Globe theatre will hit cinema screens across Europe, North America and Australasia in 2015 as part of the expanding ‘Globe on Screen’ format.

This year’s season begins on 26 February with The Duchess of Malfi, starring Gemma Arterton.

The programme also features Titus Andronicus, Julius Caesar, Antony & Cleopatra and The Comedy of Errors.

The initiative is organized for Shakespeare’s Globe by Arts Alliance, which also works with the Royal Opera House, the Royal Ballet and Tate Modern.

Three Globe productions were distributed in 2014.
