Italian distributor Good Films has acquired Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac from TrustNordisk.

The deal was negotiated between TrustNordisk Sales Manager Nicolai Korsgaard and Andrea Cirla, Head of Acquisitions at Good Films, which plans a March launch.

Nymphomaniac is now nearly sold out around the globe. The film has its world premiere opening in Denmark on December 25.

“We have experienced enormous interest in this film from the Italian audience. The film will be an event in Italy and we are extremely excited and honored to distribute Nymphomaniac, the latest work of one of the world’s most influential directors,”said Francesco Melzi d’Eril, CEO of Good Films.
