Digital entertainment content aggregator and distributor Gravitas Ventures has signed a two-picture deal with Lux Digital Pictures Inc.

The alliance will see Gravitas, an ambitious and well-connected company, release the documentary American Grindhouse this summer following its premiere at SXSW on March 13.

American Grindhouse explores the history of exploitation cinema and will debut on VOD in North America through Warner Bros Digital Distribution.

The second title is Nightmares In Red, White And Blue and chronicles the history of the American horror film. It is set to debut before July 4.

Gravitas has recently signed deals with The Film Sales Company, Submarine, Liberation Entertainment, Imagination Worldwide, Traction Media, Well Go USA, Zeitgeist Films, Empire Film Group and Johnson Production Group.
