Film Movement has picked up North American rights to Israel’s foreign language Academy Award submission The Human Resources Manager. 

Eran Riklis directed the Hebrew, Romanian and English-language film in which Mark Ivanir plays a seemingly heartless human resources manager who discovers his humanity when he is sent to a deceased employee’s Romanian hometown.

Film Movement has scheduled a March 2011 theatrical release prior to cable VOD roll-out in the summer.

President Adley Gartenstein brokered the deal with Pyramide’s Yoann Ubermulhin.
