IFC Films has added Pang Ho-Cheung’s Hong Kong thriller Dream Home to its IFC Midnight genre roster.

Josie Ho, Anthony Wong, Eason Chan, Michelle Ye Suen, Lawrence Chou, Derek Tsang, Juno Mak, Sin Lap Man and Wong Ching and Lo Hoi Pang star.

Dream Home filmed entirely in Hong Kong and tells the story of a young woman who goes over the edge when she discovers that she can no longer afford the home of her dreams.

The film premiered in the US at Tribeca and has won a handful of awards, most recently best actress at Sitges for Ho.

IFC Midnight will release the film theatrically and on VOD in early 2011.

Fortissimo’s senior vice-president of sales and acquisitions Winnie Lau brokered the deal with IFC’s director of acquisitions and co-productions Elizabeth Nastro.
