IFC Films has acquired US rights to John Bryant’s road movie and SXSW hit The Overbrook Brothers.

Nathan Harlan, Mark Reeb, Laurel Whitsett and Steve Zissis star in the tale of estranged brothers who go in search of their biological parents.

Bryant co-wrote the screenplay with Jason Foxworth and produced with Chris Ohlson. Tom Borders served as executive producer.

IFC plans a February 17 release via its on-demand platform. IFC’s Arianna Bocco brokered the deal with Andrew Herwitz of the Film Sales Company.
