Indiecan Entertainment has acquired Canadian rights to Adam Mason’s dark comedy Junkie and Travis Long’s Kill Me Now.
Mason, whose directing credits include The Devil’s Chair, co-wrote Junkie with Simon Boyes about an addict whose psychotic brother tries to stop him going clean.
Andrew Howard, Tomas Boykin and Tess Panzer star. Indiecan will release the title on BluRay and DVD in North America and across multiple VOD platforms in Canada on November 12. Indiecan negotiated the deal with producers Daniel Louis Rivas and Charisse Sanseau.
Cracked.com’s Michael Swaim wrote and produced the horror-comedy Kill Me Now, about a killer who invades a house party in the woods. Indiecan will release across multiple VOD platforms in Canada the first quarter of 2014.
Indiecan negotiated the deal with Ryan Keller at Instrum International.
