Midnight Son, Zombie Undead, The Hunt and The Scar Crow among slate deasl
UK genre specialist Jinga Films has sold all Canadian rights to Scott Leberecht’s urban vampire tale Midnight Son to Mongrel Media. Image Entertainment has acquired US rights with both distributors aiming to release in August 2012.
The thriller follows Jacob, a reclusive young man forced by a rare disease to drink human blood. His world opens up when he falls in love with a local bartender, but he must control his violent tendencies as the police suspect his involvement in a series of grisly murders.
Meanwhile, Jinga has also sold US rights for Rhys Davies’s Zombie Undead, Thomas Szczepanski’s The Hunt and Andy Thompson’s The Scar Crow to MVD (Music Video Distribution).
