UK sales outfit Jinga Films has closed a raft of deals for Jac Schaeffer’s futuristic romantic-comedy Timer.
Distribution deals were made with CP Digital (Russia and CIS), Italia (Middle East), Shapira (Israel), Vitra (Poland), HBO (Central Europe) Canal + (Spain), Prevision (South Korea), Accent (Australia/New Zealand) and Pictureworks (India).
Starring Emma Caulfield, John Patrick Amedori, Michelle Borth and Desmond Harrington, Timer tells the story of a woman who faces a rare dilemma in her search for love.
Timer was theatrically released in North America by Truckbeef, with Tribeca Film releasing VOD and Phase Four releasing the DVD.
“It’s the perfect date movie” said Jinga’s Rosana Coutinho. “And we are now in talks with distributors from several other territories, looking to schedule its release around Valentine’s Day 2011”.
