Kino Lorber has acquired from Le Pacte all US rights to Alain Resnais’ (pictured) final film The Life Of Riley.

The distributor expects to premiere the film in late summer or early autumn at a major US festival and open theatrically in New York.

Nationwide release will followe in autumn and digital release in 2015.

  • Cinedigm has acquired North American distribution rights to Double Dutch’s family film The Stream and will release on DVD, digital and VOD platforms on August 26. In separate deals, Double Dutch also licensed the film to VM in Australia and MediAsia for pan Asian TV.
