Spanish outfit Latido Films has sold theatrical rights for The Diary Of Carlota to Brave Film for Italy and 80 Days to ABC for Netherlands and Belgium, and TV rights for No Return to SBS in Australia.
Juan Manuel Carrasco’s teen comedy The Diary Of Carlota, backed by The Secret In Their Eyes producers Tornasol Films, has sold well abroad recently, including to Trade Film for France at EFM.
Jon Garaño and Jose Mari Goenaga’s drama 80 Days, about two elderly ladies’ complicated relationship, has travelled extensively to key festivals and is selling gradually across the territories.
Miguel Cohan’s popular emotional thriller No Return, also backed by Tornasol Films, about the impact of a hit and run killing, starring Leonardo Sbaraglia, has already performed well in Argentina and was released in Spanish theatres Friday (March 18) by Alta Films.
