Jim Broadbent and Brenda Blethyn have joined the voice cast of animated project Ethel & Ernest based on the Raymond Briggs book.
The Little Film Company is handling worldwide sales in Toronto. John Coates is set to produce with Camilla Deakin as executive producer.
Ethel & Ernest is a comedic and poignant story about Briggs’ parents as they live through four decades of extraordinary events and social change in London.
Broadbent and Blethyn starred together in 1998’s Little Voice.
