Xan Cassavetes’ erotic vampire film is set to receive its world premiere on Friday (7) as the closing night film of International Critics’ Week at Venice.

Joséphine de La Baume, Milo Ventimiglia, Roxane Mesquida and Riley Keough star in the tale of a romance between a vampire and a screenwriter that threatens the vampire community.

The DeerJen/Verisimilitude production in association with Bersin Pictures was produced by Jen Gatien and Alex Orlovsky. The executive producer roster includes Adam S Bersin, Jacob Pechenik, Riaz Tyab and Jon Vinnik. 

Magnet svp Dori Begley and director of acquisitions Peter Van Steemburg brokered the deal with the filmmakers, Orlovsky, Gatien and counsel André Des Rochers of Gray Krauss Stratford Des Rochers.
