Jerome Sable’s horror musical will open in the US after its world premiere in the Midnighters section at SXSW.

Magnet negotiated the deal with international rights holders XYZ Films, which is handling sales at the EFM.

Stage Fright will go through Magnet’s Ultra VOD channel and on digital platforms on April 3 followed by theatrical roll-out on May 9.

Described as Scream meets Glee’, Stage Fright centres on an aspiring thespian at a snobby performing arts camp where a production turns bloody.
