Magnolia Pictures has snapped up US rights to Toronto entry The Right Kind Of Wrong starring Ryan Kwanten, Sara Canning, Catherine O’Hara and Will Sasso.

WestEnd Films holds international rights and eOne will distribute in Canada, the UK, Australia, New Zealand and Benelux.

Jeremiah Chechik’s rom-com is set to receive its world premiere on Thursday (12) and follows a humiliated ex-husband who falls for a woman on the day of her wedding.

Magnolia negotiated the deal with Cinetic Media on behalf of producer Robert Lantos of Serendipity Point Films.

Megan Martin adapted the screenplay from Tim Sandlin’s novel Sex And Sunsets. Ari Lantos also produced and Mark Musselman served as executive producer.
