Magnolia Pictures has added the documentary to its slate and plans a 40-city campus tour later in the year. Magnolia International will commence sales in Berlin this week.

Square Grouper: The Godfathers Of Ganja follows the escapades of marijuana smugglers in 1970s Florida and is directed by Billy Corben and produced by Alfred Spellman.

The film will launch at SXSW in March and marks the first of a recently struck first-look deal between Magnolia and producers rakontur.

Magnolia svp Tom Quinn brokered the deal with Spellman.
